What is the difference between DT 1990 PRO and Amiron home?

Both the DT 1990 PRO and the Amiron home operate with transducers of the latest Tesla technology. The two models have been optimised according to their different application areas.

As a reference headphone for studio applications the DT 1990 PRO features an accurate resolution and a differentiated stereo image. With a detailed reproduction of highs it is the ideal tool for a precise analysis of the audio material to be processed. The supplied ear pads allow an easy modification of the bass response - either neutral or with a slight bass boost. The applied materials and the wide range of accessories have been tailored to the requirements of daily routine in studios. The supplied two connecting cables are connected via mini XLR connectors to one side of the headphone.

The Amiron home unfolds its full potential mainly at home. It combines a very precise bass with transparent mids and pleasantly clear highs. Its warm, laid-back sound with a fascinating spaciousness is excellently suitable for a relaxed listening to the music and provides a top-class audiophile listening experience.
The detachable, ultra-flexible cable is connected via mini jack connectors (3.5 mm) to both sides of the headphone. The light weight of the headphone, the low headband pressure and the ear pads of microvelours ensure ultimate comfort when wearing.
