Yes, data that is wirelessly transmitted between transmitters and receivers is secured with AES-256 bit encryption. For this, an audio key must be saved on the transmitter and receiver. This is generated individually during the pairing process in the Unite Cockpit charger or the Unite Manager software, is then transmitted to the Unite devices and cannot be read. Network communication between the devices and the Unite Manager software is based upon SNMP version 3 including password protection. This guarantees the best possible protection against unauthorised listening.
