The MMX 100 is an analog headset, while the MMX 150 is a USB headset with an integrated sound card. We answer when which headset is best under “When should I choose the MMX 100 and when should I choose the MMX 150?”. The acoustic tuning is identical for both headset models and the design is almost the same.
Like the MMX 100, the MMX 300 is a purely analog headset. The MMX 300 is manufactured at the Heilbronn location with an acoustic driver, which we also manufacture ourselves at the beyerdynamic headquarter. The workmanship and acoustics are therefore on an even higher level. The sound characteristics of the MMX 300 have a little more presence in the treble and a more analytical sound. The MMX 100 and MMX 150 are a bit more bass emphasized than the MMX 300.
