All earphones in the beyerdynamic BYRD series are designed as durable, robust earphones for versatile everyday use as all-round products. You can therefore also use them for sport. Note however that we have omitted certain features of special sports headphones (clip mechanism in ear, special emphasis on bass response, battery in the earphones themselves) in the beyerdynamic Byrd family in favour of better all-round usage.
In other words: If we had set out to develop special models for sports usage, the products would be different to those in the beyerdynamic Byrd series, which for their part would then have had disadvantages for all-round use.
They do not have a formal protection class (e.g. IPX).
