beyerdynamic HEADPHONE LAB is a DAW plug‑in available for Windows and macOS, compatible with all DAWs that support VST3, AU, or AAX. There is no stand‑alone application at the moment.
Set up
- Run the installer by double-clicking the .pkg file on macOS or the .exe file on Windows.
- Follow the on‑screen steps to complete the installation. You can choose the location for your VST3 plug-in if needed.
Launch your preferred DAW and load the plug-in on the master channel.
Get started
- If your DAW does not recognise HEADPHONE LAB at start-up, make sure to search for it in the plug-in manager.
- Load the plug-in in your master channel at the end of the signal chain.
- Select your headphone model from the list and enter the serial number if applicable to enable FACTORY CALIBRATION.
- You can independently turn HEADPHONE CALIBRATION and LOUDSPEAKER EMULATION ON or OFF.
- When exporting the mix-down, HEADPHONE LAB will automatically switch to bypass.
