It visualises two calibration types: STANDARD CALIBRATION and FACTORY CALIBRATION (requires a serial number).
STANDARD CALIBRATION
- The cyan solid line represents the frequency response of the golden‑sample headphone defined by our acoustics team.
- The surrounding shading indicates the possible variation of your specific headphone.
- The dashed grey line shows the studio target frequency response used for mixing and mastering.
When HEADPHONE CALIBRATION is turned ON, the graph updates to show the calibrated response, including its uncertainty range.
FACTORY CALIBRATION
If the selected headphone supports FACTORY CALIBRATION and a valid serial number is entered, the graph displays:
- The amplitude‑frequency response of your specific headphone—shown separately for the left (cyan) and right (magenta) channels.
- The dashed grey line shows the target frequency response used for mixing and mastering.
